FAQ (About Your Order)

How quick can I get my product?  Your credit card will be processed the day your order is received.  Upon credit card approval, your order will be prepared and shipped out the following business day.  For domestic orders, we ship Priority Mail which takes 2-3 days.  Express mail (1-2 days) is approximately twice the regular rate.  Alternative shipping options are available.  Please contact us by email to request a quote on other shipping options.

Is shipping $6 for each item?  $6 shipping covers up to three tubes (to the same address, in the continental US), or tubes and 1 oz bottles combined, or one 4 oz bottle.  See above.  Canadian and International shipment pricing is listed in the shipping drop down box on the checkout portion of the order form.  Delivery time due to customs cannot be guaranteed.

Is there a product guarantee?  Yes, there is a one time money back guarantee.  If you don't like the product, send it back within 30 days for a full refund (less shipping).  The credit will be applied to the credit card you submitted for purchase.

Your progesterone cream claims to contain 1000 mg per ounce of progesterone.  How can I be sure it contains that much progesterone?   Botanical Alternatives progesterone cream is submitted periodically to an independent laboratory that utilizes the HPLC method of testing.  Test results have been within 10% of the target concentration.

I've never used progesterone cream before.  How long does it take to get symptom relief?  Botanical Alternatives cannot guarantee that you will get relief from symptoms.  Many women notice improvements within a week or two of starting  to use progesterone cream and for others, it may take a cycle or two.  Be patient, and use the cream daily as directed for best results.  Do read the complete instructions for use.

I saw somewhere on your website that I should refrigerate the cream.  Why?   Botanical Alternatives uses a cream preservative system containing only essential oils and antioxidants, and does not use hazardous commercial preservatives.  Products preserved in this way have a shorter shelf life, may be sensitive to extremes in temperature, and should be used within months of receipt.  If more than one tube is purchased, we suggest that you store the extra tubes in the refrigerator to prolong their shelf life.

My cream got runny after a few months.  Is it still ok to use?  The cream emulsion can separate out over time.  If this occurs, just shake it up and use it, the ingredients have not been compromised, although the cream texture might change a bit.  The stability of the cream can be affected by shipping and storage temperature extremes.  We are working to resolve this issue.

Is the date printed on the tube label an expiration date?   No, the date printed on the back label is the lot number and production date.  The product should be used within a few months of this date.
